Two "Gossip Girl" regulars are departing the Upper East Side.
Taylor Momsen, who plays Jenny Humphrey, and Jessica Szhor, who plays Vanessa Abrams, willl not be returning for the show's fifth season, TV Line and Us Weekly report. Both had reportedly been invited to guest-star in future episodes.
Momsen has been a part of the "Gossip Girl" since the show's inception, and Szhor became a regular in episode 14. No word on their future projects. Momsen has been performing with her band The Pretty Reckless, while Szhor has several indie films in post-production.
The remaining cast -- Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, and Ed Westwick -- have all signed on for the fifth season, which debuts this fall. Kaylee DeFer will become a series regular, playing Serena van der Woodsen's cousin Charlie.
