Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari's engagement was called off this weekend, which came as a total surprise since they two had an engagement party the previous weekend and even registered for wedding gifts.
Us Weekly reports that Cavallari was "blindsided" by the breakup while a source told People it was Cutler's "controlling" nature was a major factor.

Cutler changed his Facebook status to "single" Sunday night, before deleting his account entirely.
