Christie Brinkley was supposed to promote her role as Roxie Hart in "Chicago" this morning on "Today" -- but the interview left her in tears as talk quickly turned to her ex-husband Peter Cook.
The two have had one of the most contentious splits in Hollywood and it's clearly taking a toll on the 58-year-old former supermodel.
Though the two have a No Contact Rule in place, she says "He continues to contact me and that's the problem."
It's here that Christie couldn't hold back her tears anymore.
“I just want peace for my family," she said. "And every time I have any joy or any kind of success in anything, he has to try to destroy it.”
The interview ended there, with Matt apologizing for not talking about "Chicago" more and agreeing to do another sit down with her in the near future where they would only talk about the show.
