Hilary Duff is following in the footsteps of Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson -- no, not that -- she just signed a book deal!
According to the publisher, the Duffster will write a fiction series for young readers -- and the first book, "Elixir," is due out in October.
There are also plans for Hil to pen a non-fiction book that deals with divorce -- an issue the former "Disney" star faced during her parents' recent separation.
