Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon split in 2006 -- but, in a new interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Ryan says "Things are great" between them.
Phillippe says the former couple, who have two children together, "go to all the school events together and we're there for each other ... We've done a really good job with that and our kids are happy and healthy and doing awesome."
As for if he's still living single -- Ryan says he's "dating" ... but focusing on his kids and career.
