England may have David Beckham, but America has Brad Pitt -- and he might just make the difference for who hosts the 2018 World Cup.
Brad Pitt signed a petition today, pledging his support to the USA Bid Committee -- the organization campaigning to host the World Cup on American soil in 2018.
Pitt says, "Soccer is a truly global sport and the opportunity to join the effort to have the U.S. host the world's greatest sporting event again is a great honor."
FYI -- South Africa is hosting this year's event, Brazil gets it in 2014.
