Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio is the first of "The Jersey Shore" cast to land his own TV show, but the hunky breakout star tells TooFab that there's no animosity from his fellow cast members.
When asked about any bad blood, DelVecchio told TooFab, "Oh, no. When [MTV] announced it to the press, everybody from the cast [reached out]. Vinnie called me, Snooki called me. Even Angelina shot me a text. She said 'congratulations.' They're all happy for me, which is great."
As to what makes him so spin-off friendly as compared to the rest of the cast, DelVecchio, whose show will focus on his deejaying, tells TooFab, "I think it's the concept. It's really interesting. How I was this local deejay and now I'm this phenomenon."
He continues, "I've been deejaying my whole life. Back home, I was deejaying for 200 people, and now I'm deejaying for 20,000 people. I'm being sent to Vegas, and all this stuff, but I'm, still the same old little boy from Rhode Island, just deejaying, doing what I love to do."
