There's a new baby on the bayou!
Jacob Landry, who stars on The History Channel's popular show "Swamp People," and his wife Lyndsi welcomed a son in late June. Ridge Adam Landry was born in Louisiana and weighed seven pounds, the family tells TooFab.
Jacob's father Troy (pictured on the right) also stars on the show, which follows the lives of several families trying to preserve Cajun life and traditions. The elder Landry, known as the "King of the Swamp," is excited about the new addition to the family.
"It's awesome. It is the best feeling in the world. I can't wait to spoil that baby boy," Troy said. "I have two granddaughters -- this is my first grandson, I am going to start dragging him around when he's a year or two old. I can't wait. I am glad I have my little grandson, but I have to say I have my little granddaughters spoiled rotten too! There's no difference! They're all going to be spoiled rotten by me and my wife!"
The Season 2 finale of "Swamp People" airs this Thursday on The History Channel.
Congratulations to the new parents!
