Planning the perfect wedding day was an emotional roller coaster for Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey.
The couple documented the wedding planning for a TLC special and we just got our hands on a new clip, showing one moment that made the bride-to-be start to well up.
In the clip, Minnillo talks about how hard planning the big day has been without the help of her mother, who has been MIA from her life since she was 9-years-old.
"My mom isn't there to try on dresses with me, give me her two cents, tell me her little girl's all grown up and she looks beautiful," she says to Nick -- who comforts her with a big hug.
