Nicole Richie has come a long way from "The Simple Life."
The former wild child turns 30-years-old today and it's pretty crazy to see how she's gone from Paris Hilton's zany sidekick to respected fashionista/mother of two in just 8 years.
Paris marked the occasion by tweeting out a photo of the two of them from waaaaay back in the day, with the message "Happy Birthday @NicoleRichie! You have been friend longer then anyone I know and I love you so much! So proud of you! Love Paris."
