The first official trailer for "The Avengers" is here -- giving us our first look at the new Hulk, plus some crazy action with the biggest names in Marvel comics.
Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) unite in the flick, opening next May.
The plot, according to the official synopsis:
"When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins."
