The "Bourne Identity" franchise continues this summer -- but without Matt Damon as Jason Bourne!
The first trailer for "The Bourne Legacy" premiered online this morning, with Jeremy Renner taking the lead this time as another trained assassin.
According to the movie's official synopsis, the flick "expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films."
The trailer shows some impressive combat with Renner and one serious explosion.
The movie, opening August 3, co-stars Ed Norton, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Rachel Weisz.
