The summer movie season kicks off next week with the highly anticipated "The Avengers" -- and while that movie is huge in scope, it's hardly the only BIG flick coming out in the next month.
The week immediately following the super superhero movie, another collection of big name celebs band together for "Dark Shadows."
The Tim Burton movie, based on the gothic '70s soap, stars Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, Chloe Moretz and Eva Green -- and follows Depp's cursed vampire after he awakens from a centuries-long slumber.

The blockbusters keep rolling out the week after that with "Battleship," the Peter Berg-directed flick based on the Hasbro board game.
The cast is definitely more eclectic for this Aliens vs. Navy movie, which stars singer Rihanna, "Friday Night Lights" alums Taylor Kitsch and Jesse Plemons, model Brooklyn Decker, "True Blood" hottie Alexander Skarsgard and the amazing Liam Neeson.

From there, you've got movies like "The Amazing Spider-Man," "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Men In Black III."
