We're always excited for a new Ryan Gosling movie, but based on the trailer for "Gangster Squad," we can't wait for this one!
Based on true events, the flick tells the story of a 1940s mafia boss, played by Sean Penn, who came to L.A. and started causing trouble (as mafia bosses do). Ryan plays one of the LAPD officers who tries to take down the bad guy -- and wow does he look good doing it.
Full of action, old school machine guns, explosions, old Hollywood glamour, fedoras and a steamy Gosling/Emma Stone love scene (reminiscent of their on screen heat in "Crazy. Stupid. Love"), the trailer promises big things. Watch it below!
"Gangster Squad," also starring Josh Brolin, Nick Nolte, Giovanni Ribisi and Anthony Mackie, hits theaters this fall.
