Maybe Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra really are "just friends" -- because this weekend, he stepped out with a hot new lady ... and she has no problem with nudity.
The "X Factor" judge was spotted with "True Blood" actress Janina Gavankar in the back of his car outside of Cecconi's West Hollywood on Saturday night. Gavankar plays the oft-naked, shapeshifting Luna on the supernatural HBO show.
When photographed by the paparazzi, Simon, 53, gave one of his trademark scowls as Janina, 32, smiled in the backseat.
No word on when the two met, but Janina posted a photo on Instagram of her hanging out with Simon, L.A. Reid and Jermaine Dupri two months ago.
Simon also recently tweeted "hello trouble" to her three weeks ago.
