Hollywood Week wrapped up for the male "American Idol" contestants on Thursday night.
The wheat was definitely separated from the chaff, and some guys established themselves as ones to watch with simply amazing performances.
With the caliber of singing so high, we bring you five of the very best. Will a guy win "Idol" again this season? These talented performers will try their best.
1. Devin Velez
The 18-year-old tackled the Louis Armstrong classic "What a Wonderful World." What a wonderful vocal. Judge Keith Urban praised, "You are born to sing." Watch:
2 and 3. Gurpreet Singh Sarin and Cortez Shaw
Gurpreet -- aka The Turbanator -- put his gimmick to rest and delivered a soulful rendition of "Georgia On My Mind."
Cortez Shaw, whose confidence at times overshadowed his talent, showed off some incredible vocal gymnastics to "Sunny."
4. Nick Boddington
Nick got oh-so-close to making the live shows last season, and he came back this year with a vengeance. Like Devin, Nick may not look like the next "American Idol," but his voice is incredible. This, in my opinion, is one of the best performances of the season.
5. Charlie Askew
The quirky teen picked the perfect song -- Gotye's "Somebody I Used to Know" -- and even had a fun backstory to share. His little flirtation with judge Nicki Minaj was an unexpected treat. His vocal was a little shakier than the rest, but he has a unique style all his own.
