"So You Think You Can Dance" returned last night ... and while all the contestants are looking for their big break, Taylor Ward probably didn't mean it like this.
During rehearsals for her audition, the young dancer dislocated her knee and the show caught it all on camera.
It was pretty gross ... watch with caution above!
Despite the injury, Taylor decided to go ahead with her audition -- and went to the next round after hearing from all three judges.
"I was worried it was going to pop out again," guest judge Jesse Tyler Ferguson told her. "I was probably going to throw up if that happened ... I really was taken by you."
