Let's say this first: This movie looks really, really good!
The first trailer for Tom Hanks' "Captain Phillips" was just released, chronicling the true story of the Maersk Alabama, which was boarded by Somali pirates. The siige goes awry and Phillips (Hanks) is held captive.
The movie, directed by Paul Greengrass, is based on Richard Phillips book "A Captain's Duty: Somali Pirates, Navy SEALS, and Dangerous Days at Sea," which depicts the 2009 incident from Phillip's personal experience.
Since the flick is based on a true story, most people know the ending -- but we won't spoil it if you don't.
Between this and "Saving Mr. Banks," Hanks has some serious Oscar bait on the horizon.
"Captain Phillips" hits theaters October 07 -- are you excited to see Hanks' latest flick? Tell toofab in the comment section below!
