Ben Affleck has been hitting the gym to play Batman!
The 41-year-old actor showed off his impressive physique on Thursday in Santa Monica, stepping out in a tight henley that really brought attention to his buff bod.
The actor also showed is Boston pride by sporting a Red Sox hat.
While some footage for the upcoming "Man of Steel" sequel has already been shot, the majority of filming is set to kick off in early 2014.
Affleck has reportedly been working out two hours a day to fill the Batsuit -- and whatever he's doing is certainly working.
The actor recently opened up about his hesitation to take on the iconic superhero role, telling 411mania, "Initially, I was reluctant, as I felt I didn't fit the traditional mold, but once Zack [Snyder] showed me the concept, and that it would be both different from the great movies that Chris [Nolan] and Christian [Bale] made, but still in keeping with tradition, I was excited."
