Does Johnny Depp have a baby on the way?
There are some Internet reports out there that the "Transcendence" star and fiancee Amber Heard are getting hitched so quickly because the actress is pregnant -- and Depp was put on the spot about all the rumors this morning on "Today."
First, he was asked why he was wearing a woman's engagement ring on that finger.
"I might be a woman, who knows?" he jokingly replied.
He then opened up about Heard, saying "She's a wonderful girl, she's sharp as a tack, a wonderful Southern belle and sweet as can be and very good for me."
When pressed about the baby rumors, he quickly shot them down.
"Good God, what do you think I am, a savage?!," he said. "No, it's not a shotgun affair!"
Savannah Guthrie, who recently got married while pregnant, added "Not that there'd be anything wrong with that!"
Though Depp is notoriously private, he's been talking about Heard A LOT lately.
On Thursday, the 50-year-old actor told David Letterman that he's wearing his 27-year-old fiancee's ring because "it was too big for my girl."
