The "Mighty Morpin Power Rangers" are go-going back to the big screen!
Today, Lionsgate announced that it's partnering with Saban on a brand new franchise that they hope will elevate the brand "to the next level."
The press releases says that the new series of films will "re-envision the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, a group of high school kids who are infused with unique and cool super powers but must harness and use those powers as a team if they have any hope of saving the world."
Sounds pretty similar to the original concept so far. No other details have been released, including director, cast or even release date.
While we await any morsel of information about the flick, take a look at the gallery above to see what the original stars all look like now -- plus, find out who came out as gay, who's a professor and who unfortunately died.
