Carrie Underwood is opening up for the first time about her pregnancy -- but she's still not used to the idea of motherhood!
The country singer stopped by "Today" on Friday, where she got candid about expecting her first child with hot hubby Mike Fisher.
"'I'm gonna be a mom. You're gonna be a dad.' It's like, is this real life?" she says of the couple's conversations, while talking to Hoda Kotb. "But we're really excited."
"I have a wonderful mother so if I can be even a little bit like that, I think that we'll be good," she added.
The blonde beauty took to Instagram earlier this month to announce her pregnancy, with the help of her two dogs. She posted a pic of herself holding the pooches, each wearing an "I'm going to be a Big Brother/Sister" T-shirt.
The "American Idol" alum made another big announcement on "Today," revealing that she has new music in the works!
"The song is called 'Something in the Water' and it's going to be a single off my greatest hits album, which will come out Dec. 9...It's very uplifting."
"I'm really excited that people are going to hear it Monday," she added.
According to Carrie, "Something in the Water" is "about changing your life for the better and having that 'aha moment' to waking up and your life being different from that moment forward."
We can't wait to hear her new music -- and to see her little one!
