Only Rob Lowe could look hotter than the average man while rocking a nasty, bloody kneecap.
The 50-year-old actor took to Instagram on Sunday to share a shirtless photo of himself, after suffering a gruesome surfing injury.
"So sharky," he wrote, as blood continued to drip down his knee. "The amount of blood that can unwantedly come out of one's body is amazing."
The "West Wing" alum went to the doctor's office for stitches in his knee, where he also shared another shot with fans on the social media site. Click here to see the graphic pic.
We don't think a little blood will keep Lowe out of the water!
"As an avid surfer, I am at home in the water," he recently told Parade magazine. "And the well-being of our marine wildlife and environment resonates very deeply with me."
"My family and I spend a lot of time on the ocean," he added. "We love being outdoors, and I can see that my sons care deeply about the ocean and wildlife too."
