A real housewife lends a helping hand!
Avril Lavigne got some unexpected support from "Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills" star Yolanda Foster recently.
The "Complicated" singer covers the latest issue of People magazine, where she goes public with her struggle with Lyme disease. But who knew David Foster's wife was behind the scenes helping the 30-year-old with her struggle?
The 51-year-old, who also suffers publicly with the disease, revealed that she has helped the star cope. The two have had a long relationship, as Avril performed at the former model's 2011 wedding to David Foster!
"I took Avril under my wing when she first got sick and shared all I know," she shared in an interview with Bravo's Daily Dish. "I am so proud of her for going public and helping us bring awareness to this debilitating disease."
The Canadian singer has been absent from the spotlight since last year, after she first discovered something was wrong while on a trip to Las Vegas.
"I could barely eat, and when we went to the pool, I had to leave and go lie in bed," she told the mag.
"My friends asked, 'What's wrong?', I didn't know. I had no idea a bug bite could do this. I was bedridden for five months. I felt like I couldn't breathe, I couldn't talk and I couldn't move. I thought I was dying."
