We broke the news that "My Big Fat Fabulous Life" star Whitney Thore has a boyfriend -- and now, we're learning more about how their relationship started out.
In a new clip from tonight's episode of the TLC series, we see the reality TV star reveal to roomie Buddy and another friend that she met a new guy, Lennie, on a dating website.
"I've been talkin' to a dude, like a few weeks now," a giddy Whitney tells her buds.
"He's an artist, he's 27 and we had a couple friends in common," she adds in a confessional. "I just decided to send the first message, which is something I never do. We've been getting to know each other and I think it's kind of promising."
She was right -- as the two were still together when paparazzi caught them in NYC earlier this month.
So, where'd they go for a first date?
"Wine & Design is a place you can go where you can drink and you paint and I think it's a great, creative first date," she says. "I still don't want to get my hopes up, because I have yet to make it to the second date. My fingers are crossed and I am hoping for the best."
Happy to see they're still going strong now!
