The 49th Annual CMA Awards just turned into a very interesting night for this former couple.
Everyone was already wondering how Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert would act at their first event together since they got divorced -- but it got even more exciting once Gwen Stefani confirmed she's dating her "Voice" costar. Is it just us, or was it bad taste for the No Doubt frontwoman to announce the news before Lambert even hit the red carpet?
Either way, it didn't appear to faze Lambert at all, as she showed up in Nashville on Wednesday evening looking absolutely gorgeous.
The 31-year-old "Platinum" singer sported a skin-tight black dress for the big night and debuted pink dip-dyed tips (tips that reminded us a bit of Gwen's own past with colored hair). The gown fit her like a glove, showing off her amazing physique. Lambert paired the look with black nail polish, a black clutch, gold earrings and a ring on her middle finger.
During the show, Miranda picked up the trophy for Female Vocalist of the Year, seemingly referencing her split with Shelton during her speech.
"Man, I appreciate it. I needed a bright spot this year, so thank you," she said. "I love country music fans, and I'm just gonna keep it short, but Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton, thank you very much. I'm gonna go home and practice. Thank y'all very much, I love y'all."
Blake skipped the carpet altogether -- but will likely be out at the wild after-parties with his new girlfriend in tow. Blake and Gwen's coupling confirmation comes after the two spent Halloween weekend party-hopping together.
