Mark Ballas and BC Jean are heading from the stage to the altar!
The "Dancing With the Stars" pro popped the question to his Alexander Jean bandmate back in November, but the couple just confirmed the news on Instagram on Friday.
"Guess the cats out the bag. We are happy to share with you all that on 11//25//15 I asked BC to be my wife," he wrote, alongside a pic with his new fiance and her stunning diamond sparkler. "It was the best day of my life & it couldn't have been more perfect. We kept it on the quiet for a while as we just wanted to soak it in over the holidays, but we are excited to share the news with you all now. I honestly can't believe we kept it quiet for this long."
"Knowing that I am going to spend the rest of my days with BC gives me more comfort than any thing else ever could, she is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I can't wait for our life ahead," he continued. "I can't wait to listen to Nirvana, Janis Joplin & Coldplay together when we are old and grey. You are my world, my rock & my queen of hearts. I love you #BCBallas."
The bride-to-be shared the same photo with her fans with her own special message to her man. "Guess the cats out of the bag... We are getting married!!! I am surprised we were able to keep it hush hush for as long as we did, but I am thankful for the privacy we had to celebrate the exciting news over the holidays with our close friends and family. But now the secrets out and we are very happy to announce our engagement to the world!"
"My love @markballas took my breathe away and really out did himself when he asked me to spend forever with him on November 25th 2015," she added. "I can't wait to marry the King of my Heart & best friend and continue our journey of forever with love, music and adventures. #BCBallas."
The musical duo recently told toofab how they met. It seemed to be love at first sight for Ballas.
"I was expecting this Janis Joplin-y looking, hippie person in her mid-40s. And then I saw her and went, 'Oh, I like that!' I played my set and she stuck around and watched," he told us. "He was like the most talented person there. His skills were beyond, and he gave a lot of extra hip thrusts, which was pretty entertaining," she added.
After BC "blew him off for two months," the pair started dating.
"I was just not in the place for a date, it just made me nervous, I wasn't ready for anything like that. But eventually, I thought, you seem like a nice guy, I thought he was super talented and then we went out for Taco Tuesday and we were there five and a half hours," she recalled. "We started hanging out a bit, turned into dating, we still were doing separate things career wise, and then eventually we decided a year and a half into our relationship, let's just write a song. We wrote a song for fun."
Looks like these two will be making beautiful music together for years to come!
