Victoria Beckham may have ended her singing career years ago, but she's still spilling secrets from her days onstage with the Spice Girls.
Posh Spice made a surprising confession during an interview at the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition in London on Thursday, telling the crowd that fans never actually heard her sing.
"They used to turn it off and just let the others sing," she said, referring to her microphone (per The Telegraph). "I got the last laugh—and now my mic is well and truly on, finally."
While her vocals may not have been her strength, there's no question that Victoria was the style star of the group.
"I was always the one that loved fashion, and it was quite a result for me, because the girls always used to get their clothes for free because they were crap. So there was a lot of budget for me to have my little Gucci dress," she told the audience.
While she loves her designer duds, even Posh knows how to work those budget-friendly threads!
"The first dress that I wore in the Spice Girls, which everybody thought was a little black Gucci dress, was actually from Miss Selfridge - it wasn't a little back Gucci dress," Beckham declared.
After she quit the band, Victoria went on to launch a successful clothing line. Now, she's passed on her love of fashion to her daughter, Harper.
"Each season before we leave for New York I always take the kids down there," she explained. "Last season Harper tap-danced for all the ladies working on the sewing machines."
Sounds like she's ready for the stage, right?!
