Netflix is appealing to video game fans with its latest show, "Castlevania," from "Dredd" producer Adi Shankar.
The streaming service released the first trailer (above) for the anime series based on the horror game that debuted for American consumers on Nintendo in 1987.
The series will follow a vampire hunter's quest to kill the most famous vampire in the history of horror.

View Story"Who are you?" a character asks before viewers are treated to a quick taste of the stylized animation, which won't shy away from bloody violence.
"The man who'll kill Dracula," the man responds.
"Castlevania" starts streaming on July 7.
