Donald Trump meant to reassure Americans Friday morning that the government is ready for Hurricane Irma, but his abbreviation for "Federal Government" sent Twitter into a frenzy.
"Hurricane Irma is of epic proportion, perhaps bigger than we have ever seen. Be safe and get out of its way,if possible. Federal G is ready!," the president tweeted.
Twitter users were quick to pounce with jokes, memes and gifs riffing off of the nickname for the federal government that makes it sound like a hip hop star.
