Lucy Hale stood up to a body-shaming troll on Twitter after the man criticized the actress about her weight while commenting on a photo she shared.
In the photo (above), the "Pretty Little Liars" is seated in a chair and looking up. Her caption: "Don't go into the light, Carol Anne," a reference to "Poltergeist."
After she posted the shot, the troll responded saying, "No straight men are signing off on that anorexic look 👀--that's for gay guys & fashionistas, we want you to please eat a hamburger."

"I am disgusted that a man would even think of saying these absolutely awful words to a woman. You should be ashamed of yourself," she wrote. "As someone who used to struggle with anorexia, I don't take these comments lightly. Im healthy and happy and you don't know me."
"So keep your repulsive comments to yourself," she continued.
When he replied by simply writing "neat" and sharing a GIF of Idris Elba giving the thumbs up, Hale shot out one more tweet: "Just another insecure man hiding behind a computer screen. Boy BYE."
