After catching flack for her response to the Harvey Weinstein scandal last week, Lindsay Lohan posted -- then deleted -- an Instagram message about the alleged abuse she suffered by her ex-fiancé, Egor Tarabasov.
"Whatever anyone says, I am FOR #womenempowerment as if most women in America cared how I was abused by my exfiancé... when not one person stood up for me while he was abusing me," she wrote in the caption for a "Parent Trap" set photo. "You could only imagine what it feels like to come out as a #strongwoman BUT, acknowledge this, we all make our own choices and wake up in our own beds in the morning. I prefer to go to my home and wake up alone."
"#BESTRONG let us not blame anyone as #karma will always takes its toll," she added.

View StoryLohan later edited the caption, removing any mention of her personal experience suffering with abuse. "Whatever anyone says, I am FOR #womenempowerment #strongwoman #BESTRONG #karma will always takes its toll #womenrights," it now reads.
Lindsay opened up about their volatile relationship with Tarabasov during an interview with The Daily Mail in 2016, where she accused him of being abusive. "I realize now you can't stay in a relationship just for love," she said at the time, "No woman can be hit and stay with that person if that person isn't prepared to say sorry."
Her latest comments come days after she posted a 26-second video on the social media platform defending Weinstein.
"Hi, this is Lindsay Lohan. I'm in Dubai, I'm home, and I feel very bad for Harvey Weinstein right now, I don't think it's right what's going on," she said. "I think Georgina needs to take a stand and be there for her husband, and he's never harmed me or done anything wrong to me, so I think everyone needs to stop. I think it's wrong, so stand up."
