Whoopi Rips Trump on 'The View' for Supporting Roy Moore: 'I Guess All Women Are Liars, Right?'

Whoopi Goldberg had a stern message for President Donald Trump on "The View," after POTUS defended Roy Moore amid allegations of of sexual assault.

"The former reality show star in the White House has broken his silence one the Alabama state race," Goldberg said at the top of Wednesday's show, before showing a news clip of Trump speaking out in support of the beleaguered senatorial candidate.

"I can tell you one thing for sure, we don't need a liberal person in there, a Democrat, Jones," Trump said, referencing Moore's Democratic opponent Doug Jones. "I've looked at his record— it's terrible on crime. It's terrible at the borders. It's terrible on the military." Of the allegations against Moore, Trump added: "He denies it, look he denies it. If you look at what is really going on, if you look at all the things that have happened over the last 48 hours, he totally denies it. He says it didn't happen. And you know, you have to listen to him also."

"So I guess all you have to deny it and I guess you're in the clear," exclaimed Goldberg. "So all women are liars, right?"

"I can understand why he needs a Republican in this seat, he needs to pass this tax bill, he's been so ineffective up to this month," Sunny Hostin added. "I would think he would put principle before partisanship."

"Really? You really think that?!" asked Whoopi. "Have you not been watching the last several months. We want better, but come on!"

"If all you want is to pass legislation, the message you're sending out to your daughters and your wives is that it doesn't matter if somebody grabs you in the crotch, if someone comes onto you when they're 100 and you're 4," Goldberg continued. "It doesn't matter, we want the tax credit. If that sits well with y'all, then you got your dude. If that doesn't sit well with you, maybe you have to make some adjustments."

Speaking directly to the "new guy in the White House," Goldberg added: "You've got accusers. People are shaking their fingers at you, they're scared, what are you going to do to make them feel better? We are all asking, what are you gonna do to make this better for women. It doesn't feel like you're making it safe for us."
