While we all sound terrible rocking out to her songs in our own cars, Kelly Clarkson proved her voice is just as impressive riding shotgun as it does in the studio on Wednesday's "Carpool Karaoke."
The "Love So Soft" singer was the latest to jam out to a few of her biggest hits on James Corden's CBS late-night show, as the duo harmonized to "Since U Been Gone," "Because of You," "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) and "Whole Lotta Woman" from her latest album, "Meaning of Life."
The trip took an awkward turn, however, when Corden made a stop to pick up Clarkson's real-life husband, Brandon Blackstock.
"You have quite a unique thing going on because your husband is also your manager. Do you get to spend a lot of time together outside of work?" the host asked the singer. "I think it's difficult," she responded, "because I work a lot and I'm a mom, but we try."
Corden's solution: a date night for the couple, "Right now."

View StoryClarkson then hopped into the backseat, where she was joined by Blackstock, some chocolate covered strawberries and sparkling cider. A violinist popped up to help set the mood, while Corden told his two passengers to "just pretend I'm not here." The set-up wasn't exactly natural, prompting Blackstock to exclaim, "I feel like we're making a porn!"
