Thanks to some aggressive encouragement from Cynthia Bailey and Marlo Hampton, NeNe Leakes and Porsha Williams agreed to address their issues on Sunday's "Real Housewives of Atlanta" with a tea party at Marlo's house. But in typical "Housewives" fashion, the party did not go as planned.
Once very close, NeNe and Porsha have been at odds since the former told Andy Cohen that if it were up to her, she would "get rid of" Porsha from the reality show. The tension then boiled over during the ladies' trip to San Francisco when NeNe told Porsha, "You deserve some discipline for what you did to Kandi!"
NeNe Leakes Thinks 'RHOA' Cast 'Should Be Changed Up a Bit' (Exclusive)
View StorySipping on some cranberry vodka, Cynthia opened the floor: "Marlo, you and NeNe didn't talk for four years. NeNe and I didn't talk for two years. I don't know how deep you guys' issues go, but child, if we can get over it, I feel like you guys can at least get to some common space."
Porsha then said to Nene, "I do not understand why when we talk about this, it goes to a petty place because it's a totally emotional situation."
"I've heard you refer to me as your little sister in the past," Porsha continued. "I think it started when I was going through my divorce. I know for a fact we talked on the phone like probably five days out of the week. I thought and felt like my being there for you was supporting you whether you were on Broadway, flying up to see you and coming to see your show, and tweeting and trying to get people when you were on 'Dancing With the Stars.'"
NeNe replied, "There definitely was issues where I would text you, Porsha, and you wouldn't even text back. You would not call back or anything like that. That to me was like -- that's when I started questioning, like, do we have a friendship?"
'RHOA' Fight of the Night: NeNe Leakes Demands 'Discipline' for Porsha Williams
View Story"NeNe, you texted my number twice, and I didn't hit you back," Porsha said.
"That's so not right," NeNe shot back. "That's so incorrect, but let's just act like I texted you twice. Let's just act like it was two times. I'm so done with talking about -- I'm so sorry for whatever Porsha says, thinks, feels..." NeNe insisted she was being sincere with her apology despite rolling her eyes and scrolling aimlessly through her phone.
"You're giving me so much of 'I don't give a f-ck," Porsha responded as the conversation heated up. "I'm tired of being the adult in this. You could give two craps about this. I can completely see it in your eyes. I completely see it in your gestures, and I completely see it in your jokes. There's nothing there. There's just nothing there like that."
"Ya'll are awful guests," Marlo said, breaking the subsequent awkward silence. "I will never invite your asses over again."

View StoryIn a recent interview with TooFab, NeNe said Porsha should never have taken offense to her comments in the first place because they "were not friends" at the time.
"I think Porsha needed something to run with and that's what she did," NeNe told TooFab. "Porsha and I hadn't spoken to each other since the Season 8 reunion show. We were not friends! I was free to say and feel whatever I wanted to. I didn't cross any friendship lines. Porsha stopped speaking to me simply because I gave her advice that quite frankly was good advice."
"In my opinion, yes -- the cast should be changed up a bit," she reaffirmed. "If I had it my way, I would get rid of two girls and bring in two new ones for excitement. You know, after a while with some of the girls, they just don't have anything going on exciting enough to be a main cast member. But I better keep who I think should go to myself because the moment I say anything, all hell breaks loose."
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sunday nights on Bravo.
