Kanye West sent Twitter into a frenzy Saturday morning, after posting a tweet complementing one of Donald Trump's biggest cheerleaders, Candace Owens.
The African-American conservative writer and commentator, who frequently appears on Fox News, is the founder of Red Pill Black, a website and YouTube channel that targets black conservatives. In addition, she's also the communications director of "Turning Point U.S.A," a non-profit right-wing organization.

View Story"I love the way Candace Owens thinks," Kanye tweeted Saturday morning, sending Owens' name to one of the top trends on the social media platform. "Only free thinkers."
Owens, who considers herself to be "free" rather then far right, can be a considered a controversial figure. Last summer, she posted an essay in which she said "Black men getting shot by police isn't racism," because of this and many other controversial things she has said, the political commentator is considered to be anti-Black. She has also been under fire in the past for being anti-LGBTQ and like other conservatives, a fact-hater.
It's not clear which of Owens' thoughts Kanye likes, but nevertheless, she was very flattered by "The Life of Pablo" singer's shout out and now hopes to meet with Kanye.

Kanye West Shares Sweet, Nostalgic Message About Lamar Odom After Returning to Twitter
View StoryAlso happy about Kanye's shoutout was actress Roseanne Barr, who is a proud Trump supporter, as well. "Bingo" she replied to Kanye's tweet applauding Owens.
On the other hand, actor Don Cheadle is definitely not a fan of "free thinker" Owens. The actor commented on a video of Owens speaking at an event for "Turning Point USA" at UCLA, in which she talked about victimhood and how African-Americans shouldn't call themselves oppressed, because of this a Black Lives Matter protest broke out. Owens called the protesters "toddlers" and Cheadle was quick to comment.
And of course the conservative commentator was quick to clapback to the actor's comments, even saying that she would donate money to a charity of his choice.
Like Cheadle, fans weren't afraid to share their frustration for Kanye's support of Owens. Some even tweeted that they would no longer buy the rapper's music.

There are others, however, that are happy Kanye is showing his love for Owens and the right-wing.
