ABC dropped the first preview of the "Roseanne" spinoff series, giving fans a glimpse of what the family dynamic is like after Roseanne Conner (Roseanne Barr) leaves.

The trailer doesn't make any reference to Roseanne, though. In fact, it's all laughs, with Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) talking to Darlene (Sara Gilbert) about preparing for the holidays.
"I thought we should talk about a game plan for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas," Jackie says.
"I say we follow the Conner tradition," Darlene replies. "Spend every dime we have on Halloween and then we have nothing to be thankful for or buy gifts with."
