Jackie Goldschneider is one of the newest ladies to join the cast of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," and she told TooFab she didn't receive the warmest of welcomes from OG 'Wife Danielle Staub.
Jackie joined the cast as a friend of Margaret Josephs and told TooFab she didn't meet any of the other Housewives until they started filming Season 9. When asked who she clicked with instantly, Jackie said, "Everybody, but I didn't really connect with Danielle so much."

"I don't think she likes anybody moving in on anything she considers hers, and I think she considered Margaret hers. My presence just threatened that, so I really don't feel like she felt warm towards me, and it reflected in how she treated me."
But Jackie said she didn't let Danielle's supposed jealousy get in the way of her friendship with Margaret. "I adore Margaret!" she said. "And I'm so much closer with her now. The show really brought us together. Me, Melissa and Margaret are all very close with each other."
Jackie said the person she connected with from the start was Melissa Gorga, saying they got "very close, very fast." Jackie said the two "really hit it off" and feels they have the most in common personality-wise and because they have children of similar ages.
"We really like each other, it's an easy friendship, our kids adore each other and it really works," she said. "I rubbed some people maybe the wrong way, and they don't wanna be as close to me, which is fine. All I know is that I gravitated towards Melissa and Margaret, and they gravitated towards me."

"Overall, based on what everyone said, I was expecting it to be more of a fighting-filled, more of a negative experience," she said. "There was some drama, but it was really about relationships and friendships and happiness and good times. I was really surprised by how much I really enjoyed the whole experience because I was expecting -- based on what people said, people who don't know anything -- a negative experience."
Some of the warning messages Jackie said she received included, "Watch out," "The show ruins marriages," "The show ruins friendships." But according to Jackie, she experienced "none of that."

"I'm hoping that I'm not so sensitive when I hear the interviews," Jackie said. "It's gotta be hard to hear bad things about yourself. I have yet to encounter the situation, so I'm trying to prepare myself and remind myself that I talked a little smack about other people, too. So it's all fair."
