Happy #NewMusicFriday, folks! We've got lots of goodies for you today.
First and foremost, we must address what many thought was a major swipe Jay-Z took at Kanye West.
Sharon Osbourne Rips 'Obnoxious' Kim Kardashian on 'The Talk' for Doing THIS
View StoryJoining Meek Mill and Rick Ross on "What's Free" (a take on The Notorious B.I.G.'s "What's Beef"), Jay-Z appeared to mock Ye for his love and support of President Donald Trump.
The lyrics, "No red hat, don't Michael and Prince me and Ye," made many think it was a dig at Kanye; however, TMZ says it's actually a show of solidarity with the Yeezus rapper. Jay was apparently referencing the 1980s and 1990s rivalry between Michael Jackson and Prince.
TMZ's breakdown: "Just because Ye wears the red cap and I [Jay-Z] don't, doesn't mean you should pit us against each other."
