Senator Kamala Harris certainly knows her hip hop — she was listening to Snoop Dogg and 2Pac before all of y'all.
The presidential-hopeful has claimed she was a fan of both rappers while she was in college... years before either had released any music.
In a possibly related note, she also admitted in the same interview on The Breakfast Club that she smoked weed back then, too.
After conceding she "had inhaled" and had opted for a joint over a blunt, Charlamagne tha God then asked the 54-year-old what music she was into at the time.

View Story"What was you listening to when you was high? What song was on? What was playing?” the host probed.
"Oh my goodness, Definitely Snoop. Tupac for sure," she smiled.
The thing is, Senator Harris got her BA from Howard University in 1986, and graduated from Hastings College of the Law in 1989.

Nobody noticed the discrepancy however, and she was allowed to move onto her more modern likes.

Giving her arguments for the legalization of cannabis, she sidestepped when asked if would she smoke it if it was.
"Listen; I think it gives a lot of people joy, and we need more joy in the world," she replied, laughing heartily.
