"I just wanted her to have a platform to tell her story. That's it," Jada said of Jordyn.
Jada Pinkett Smith had Jordyn Woods on her "Red Table Talk" -- following the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal -- because it was the safest platform for her to tell her side of the story.
In an interview with People, Jada admitted she originally was hesitant about having Jordyn on the Facebook Watch talk show. However, her concern for Jordyn along with Will's opinion on the idea, changed her mind.

View Story"Jordyn really felt like it was the only safe place that she could do that interview," the actress said. "It actually wasn't something I wanted to do because it was very close [to home], but as time transpired, Jordyn was just like, 'I really need you in this platform' and Will [Smith] felt like it was supremely important. So I was like, okay let's do it."
Jordyn's appearance on "Red Table Talk" not only broke records, becoming the most-viewed Facebook Original episode in its first 24 hours, but it gave Jordyn the ultimate platform to give her side of what went down.
"That was my intention honestly," Jada said. "I just wanted her to have a platform to tell her story. That's it. She's a young beautiful woman inside and out and me having been a young girl, we sometimes get in situations that we don't necessarily know how to handle… You just [try to] help young girls navigate through life, through difficult situations we've all come across."

Meanwhile, on the latest explosive episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," Khloe and the Kar-Jenner family scrambled to get as much information as possible about what went down between Jordyn and Tristan on NBA All-Star Weekend.
However, Jordyn's side of the story -- both on "RTT" and what Khloe Kardashian said Jordyn told her -- didn't line up with what Tristan purportedly told Khloe.
"She was like, 'He was trying to kiss me.' And was like, 'I can't remember if we did or didn't,'" Khloe said on the episode. "She said, 'I can't remember if we kissed.' Jordyn called me and said, 'I was your watchdog last night,' and she was there to protect me and keep an eye out. That's why she stayed as long as she did."
Khloe later said, "Jordyn said that they did make out." She added, "She was like, 'I love you. My loyalty is always to you.' .... She's blaming him, like, 'I was so naive.'"

View StoryKhloe also claimed Jordyn "has never said I'm sorry to me."
On "Red Table Talk," here's what Woods said went down that night: "There was a chair here, a couch and another chair, it's all filled. So he's sitting in this chair and there's an arm and I'm sitting on the arm of the chair. In my head, this is innocent. There's no way this would look like a lap dance, but I could see why people would say, 'Oh, they were getting cozy.'"
"On the way out, he did kiss me," she added on the episode. "It's just no passion, no nothing on the way out, he just kissed me. It was like a kiss on the lips, no tongue kiss, no making out, nothing."
Everything Khloe's Family and Friends Were Posting on Social Media as Explosive 'KUWTK' Aired
View StoryKhloe eventually said, "Once Tristan finally landed in Cleveland, he saw my millions of text messages. He already knew what was up and there was nothing else he could do but confirm it."
"I got my questions answered," she continued. "I was getting more details, that everyone left and Jordyn stayed. She was sitting on his lap in a chair, they were all over each other, they were handsy. They made out. It's disgusting, I'll never understand, the depths of his ... ugh."
Again, all this came to viewers second hand, so there's room for error and it's not 100% clear where all the details were coming from -- but all the stories didn't exactly line up.
