"Women can have sex if they choose, and women can wait till marriage if they choose. Point is, ITS THEIR CHOICE," Bristowe fired back.
Kaitlyn Bristowe has come to the defense of fellow Bachelorette Hannah Brown.
Bristowe, who starred in Season 11 of the ABC reality series, hit back at trolls Tuesday after they slut-shamed Brown on Twitter for having sex while filming "The Bachelorette."
When a fan asked Bristowe if she saw the "upsetting" backlash Brown had received, she replied, "Women can have sex if they choose, and women can wait till marriage if they choose. Point is, ITS THEIR CHOICE. When you're making a life altering decision to find a life partner, intimacy can be important. Why is that so hard to understand?"

Following Monday's episode of "The Bachelorette," ABC aired a preview (above) of what's to come in the final episodes. In the teaser, Brown revealed she "f--ked" one of her contestants "in a windmill." She also told contestant Luke P -- who questioned her choice to have sex with a contestant before the fantasy suites -- she and the unnamed suitor "did it a second time!"
A follower asked Bristowe if we should be "supporting" Hannah despite her making what they considered to be a "regretful decision."
"Of course, we should," the podcast host tweeted back. "Have you ever done something you regret, and needed support? Or would you be fine with everyone coming after you, when you're probably already being hard on yourself. Sometimes regrets are life lessons, which result in self compassion and growth."
Bristowe continued to defend Brown and pointed out that many women have probably been through similar experiences.
"Can we just all agree that almost all of us/most people we know have dated someone not worthy of our time at some point in our life," a fan wrote and Bristowe replied, "We have all done it."
The reality star went on to explain how discussions about religion, political beliefs, money and intimacy are "important."
Bristowe also dove into challenges of having personal issues such as sex broadcasted on national TV. "It has to be a certain level of entertainment and edited for dramatic effect," she wrote. "There's a reason this show is the best. There's a reason it has lasted 35 seasons."
