While Brandon was able to patch things up with his dad, his "family s---" caused a rift with his girlfriend.
As one of Brandon Thomas Lee's relationships was mended on the season finale of "The Hills: New Beginnings," another totally fell apart.
Let's start with the good news first, as the 23-year-old son of Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson revealed how he and his father were able to patch things up after a nasty fight between them earlier in the year.
Brandon and his dad got into a physical altercation in March 2018, following social media posts Tommy shared disparaging Pamela. At the beginning of the season, the two were still not on speaking terms. During a lunch with his mother, Brandon said he texted his dad on Thanksgiving with a message saying, "Let's put all this shit in the past. I don't really wanna do this anymore."
Well, Tommy was down to meet up and while the reconciliation happened off-camera, Brandon shared what went down on last night's episode of the MTV reality show.

He apologized for ... it was everything. I apologized for the way everything happened, and he's like, 'Dude, I totally get it, I made a mistake too.'"
"I feel like me and my dad have now gone back to square one," he added, "I got one of my friends back."
Because of all his family drama, however, Brandon had to put his relationship with girlfriend Ashley on the back burner. According to Lee, she wasn't too thrilled about that.
"When I tried to tell Ashley how serious my family problems are, it just became about her," he said in a confessional. "It was never like, I'm sorry you're going through this, it was like, 'Oh, so now you can't be there for me.' I just wish for one second she could be like, 'That sucks.'"

"It's hard when I don't see you," she responded. "I feel like you're used to being in your little bubble and it's frustrating I couldn't just see you for a second and touch base."
In a confessional, Lee said he's spent the majority of his life "trying to fix my family shit" -- and was "over being the caretaker" in this relationship with Ashley.
"There's shit that's going on in my life that's impossible to understand for other people," he told her. "I tried last night to make everything back to normal and you still were upset with me. What happens next time I can't see you?"
