Lindsie Chrisley Says Todd and Julie's Tax Evasion Scandal Has 'Wrecked' Her Life

Lindsie Chrisley feels her parents' legal troubles have "wrecked" her life.

Last month, reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley were slapped with a 12-count indictment, alleging years of tax evasion, bank fraud, wire fraud and conspiracy between 2007 and 2012 -- and their estranged daughter says she's suffering the consequences of their misdoings.

"To be perfectly honest, the years that were covered in the indictment, most of those years I was not in communication with my parents," Lindsie, 29, said in an excerpt from her "Coffee Convos with Kail Lowry & Lindsie Chrisley" podcast, via E! "So a lot of the years from like early on that they covered, I was in college, so I wasn't even like living at home. And through college -- I don't know if I've shared my whole story or not -- but through college, I didn't talk to my parents. So I definitely like would've had no knowledge of anything."

"And then in the later years that were covered, I believe that I was like already leaving the show," she continued. "So I also wouldn't have had any knowledge of like some of that stuff either."

Lindsie added, "I just find it a little ironic that there is some blame game things going on, and I just really had no involvement in that."

On Aug. 14, the Chrisleys turned themselves in and pleaded not guilty, saying a former employee of theirs had carried out the financial crimes without their knowledge or participation.

Two days later, Todd publicly accused Lindsie of having had extramarital affairs with Bachelor Nation's Robby Hayes and Josh Murray.

Lindsie reportedly told Georgia police that her father and brother, Chase Chrisley, were attempting to extort her with a sex tape, one she believed Chase had purchased. Lindsie claimed they threatened to release said video if she didn't lie about an "incident." Sources close to Lindsie told TMZ the "incident" was in relation to her testimony regarding her parents' indictment. Todd denies it all.

"I just really don't appreciate it," Lindsie said of her father's claims against her. "I personally don't think that the statements that were made were in good taste, and people have to understand like what led me to this point. I also was sent screenshots of comments and photos from Chase's Instagram page, where he had intentionally cropped me out of photos and then the caption was like 'family' or you know, something like that, which is good and great. That's fine if that's how you feel, but also be mature enough to realize that since I left the show, I have not gone and aired any dirty laundry."

"Let's not forget what's been done to me in the media and what has literally wrecked my life for the past two-and-a-half weeks," she added.

Despite Todd's claims regarding Lindsie's alleged affairs, she says she has the support of her husband, Will Campbell.

"Unfortunately for them, but fortunately for me, because I live an honest life, we have been able to, I won't say seamlessly, but we have been able to move on and get past the f--kery," she said. "And it doesn't take away the fact of the actual issue at hand, which is the legal issues. And those are none of my business, so I'm not going to speak on those. But that's what they need to be focused on and not merging into my lane."

Lindsie is Todd's oldest daughter from his first marriage to Teresa Terry. The couple also shares son Kyle, who was hospitalized following a suicide attempt two weeks after Todd and Julie were indicted. With his second wife, the real estate mogul has three other children: Savannah, Chase and Grayson.

Savannah has since come forward to say she's on her parents' side and doesn't think rekindling any kind of relationship with Lindsie is possible. She also feels Robby and Josh are simply trying to prey on her family's current situation for their own gain.

Robby recently confirmed he and Lindsie did sleep together (though he did not state when) and that the "sex tape" in question came from "a puppy camera in her friend's living room, the couch we crashed on. So, no consent from either end, which kind of debunks the whole thing."

Robby has also turned over a "slew of evidence" to the U.S. Attorney's Office, which he's said to believe shows that Chase and possibly Todd were attempting to coerce him and Lindsie, according to TMZ.

For his part, Josh said he and Lindsie have "been friends for years" and that Todd and Julie "should probably focus on how not to be imprisoned for 30 years rather than spreading gossip to try and hurt their daughter."
