Despite multiple accusations of infidelity and two years of on-again-off-again drama, the "Jersey Shore" star says the couple is committed to trying for the sake of their daughter, Ariana.
While Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was really really really distracted on his phone during the latest episode of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation," it could be because he was working on -- in his own way -- his relationship with Jen Harley. Or perhaps it was just "work."
Things were definitely not okay between the couple during Thursday night's episode, as Jen apparently reached out to Angelina Pivarnick because she was concerned she didn't know where Ron was or if he was sober. Awkward, because Ron was with the rest of the cast for Vinny Guadagnino's Chippendales residency in Las Vegas.

"You know, we're still not perfect, but we're still working on our relationship every day," Ronnie told Us Weekly on Thursday.
"It is [about] being the best parents that we can be to Ariana," he continued, referring to their 17-month-old daughter, Ariana Sky, adding that he thinks the pair is "doing a great job so far."
It's been an up-and-down road for the couple, who reportedly split earlier this month over her allegations he was cheating again with another woman, but Us Weekly spoke with an "insider" who assured them the woman was both not married and just being a friend to Ronnie after his most recent breakup with Jen.

They first started dating in July 2017, and pretty much since "Jersey Shore" came back on the airwaves, there have been accusations of infidelity and abuse thrown back and forth.
In this case, "relationship" may not even mean romantic. It's possible the couple is just trying to establish the best co-parenting relationship they can, since they're going to have to learn to work together and be civilized with one another no matter what happens over the next two decades or so as Ariana grows up.
"Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on MTV.
