'Bachelorette' Star Mike Johnson Asks Keke Palmer Out After She Questioned Him About Demi Lovato

Mike Johnson isn't shy when it comes to courting a celebrity crush.

During Monday's edition of "Strahan, Sara and Keke," the former "The Bachelorette" star asked out co-host KeKe Palmer, who had just inquired about his claims regarding dates with Demi Lovato.

"I made a mistake. I don't like dating in public," Johnson said coyly regarding his relationship with the pop star. "But if I were to ask you if we could go on a date in the public," he mused turning to Palmer as the audience went wild at the suggestion.

Clearly taken by surprise, Keke covered her mouth with a note card as she quickly changed the subject. "Next question please, next question please,' she begged her co-hosts Michael Strahan and Sara Haines. "Michael, you got the next question," Keke yelled.

Strahan and Haines turned away from Palmer, hilariously avoiding eye contact.

"I heard she's super adventurous," Johnson interjected.

"She's super adventurous," agreed Strahan adding with a laugh, "Mike, let me tell you something. Demi's my girl, I love this one here too now. You mess up and I'm coming for you. You don't want that." Sara giggled and said, "We approve."

But Palmer shut it all down by simply stating, "I'm at work."

Johnson and Lovato were linked in September after his appearance on Season 15 of "The Bachelorette".

"We've gone on more than one date," Johnson said on iHeart Radio's "Almost Famous" podcast last month. "I like her tattoos—we both have a lot of tattoos. Demi has more than me. And, uh, she kisses really well."

But with Johnson asking out another celebrity on live television, it appears he may have moved on from Lovato.
