He also doubled down on those "paved the way for Justin Bieber" claims.
Aaron Carter is ready to see his brother Nick again... possibly in court.
The singer insisted things can be mended between the siblings; but if not he is ready to lawyer up.
"I hope everything can work out between my brother and I, but if not, it is what it is," he said. "We'll see. If not, I'm going to come out with very, very powerful attorneys."
Aaron Carter Sobs as He Recalls Feeling 'Responsible' for the Deaths of His Sister and Father
View StoryThe 31-year-old, who has recently opened up about his mental health (and debuted that massive face tattoo), confirmed one of the reasons he was moving to Canada was to put some distance between him and his family.
"I do love you Nick, I do love you. But I ask for you to respect my privacy, I'm moving 5,000 miles away from you guys. So respect my privacy... that's all I have to say about that."
Aaron was joined at the LA event on Thursday by his mom Jane, who said she believed her sons could make up.
"We don't want to go there, we're not going to go there," she said of her younger boy's threat to take it to court. "I really have no comment right now, I'm trying to focus on my sobriety."
"Whatever's going on between the kids, that's between them," she added. "I love them all, as a mother should."
Nick recently filed a restraining order against his little brother, claiming he threatened to kill his then-pregnant girlfriend and unborn child. Aaron denied the claims, and accused Nick of abusing him when they were younger.
Aaron Carter Says He's Moving to Canada To 'Get Out' of 'Foul' America
View StoryOn Thursday, Aaron and his mom also doubled down on the former's claim that he paved the way for Justin Bieber, and that Bieber even copied his hairstyle.
It's a claim that has been made before, and most recently reiterated on "Marriage Bootcamp: Family Edition", on which the mother and son duo appear this season.
But Carter added he loves Justin, and would consider a collaboration with him.
"Exactly where I am now, completely mind body and soul, and on top of my shit," he replied, when asked where he saw himself a year from now.
He did however accept that Bieber was technically a better singer than him when he was young.
"But you're a better rapper," his mom interjected, and Aaron agreed 100 per cent.
Last week Bieber responded to the grandiose claims on Twitter: "Bold move with the face tats I respect it," he commented on Twitter, adding: "But the paved the way thing is hmmm."
