Alexis Bledel has portrayed relatively innocent characters in such projects as "Gilmore Girls," "Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants," and "Tuck Everlasting," but the actress has a new reputation: the most dangerous celebrity online in 2019.
Cybersecurity firm McAfee bestowed Bledel the title on Monday, as Internet searches including her name may send users to websites carrying viruses or malware, more than any other celebrity.
Trailing Bledel in the top 10 list, in order, is James Corden, Sophie Turner, Anna Kendrick, Lupita Nyong'o, Jimmy Fallon, Jackie Chan, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Tessa Thompson.

View StoryThe survey was created to bring attention to clicking on suspicious links, as hackers often capitalize on public interest in celebrities. The company used its own site ratings and searches on Google, Bing and Yahoo to collate the list.
"Consumers may not be fully aware that the searches they conduct pose risk, nor may they understand the detrimental effects that can occur when personal information is compromised in exchange for access to their favorite celebrities, movies, TV shows or music," Gary Davis, chief consumer security evangelist at McAfee, said in a statement.

View StoryDavis explained Bledel and Turner may have been high on this year's list due to their respective popular shows "The Handmaid's Tale" and "Game of Thrones," while Corden and Fallon are top dogs as they produce viral content for their late night talk shows.
Last year, Ruby Rose was crowned most dangerous as landing the role for "Batwoman" created quite a stir online. Reality star Kristin Cavallari won the silver as Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard took the bronze for 2018.
And the most dangerous celebrity online for 2017 was Canadian pop star Avril Lavigne.
