"Back to court room, see you there."
Kailyn Lowry's trip to Hawaii wasn't a total vacation from drama with her ex, Jo Rivera.
On Tuesday's new episode of "Teen Mom 2," the reality TV star returned from her getaway and filled her friend (and viewers) in on what went down with her baby daddies while she was away. The network refused to film the vacation after Kailyn went against her custody agreement with Jo and took their son, Isaac, to Hawaii on a day her ex was to have visitation ... without telling him.
She knew she could be held in contempt of court and face jail time for her actions, but didn't care. Jo, however, did.
"I got the text at like 2:30 in the morning on the 4th of July," she explained to her friend, Independence Day being one of Jo's predetermined days. She then said his message read, "Happy 4th of July, coming by at 9 to get Isaac. See you soon."
"He knew I was already in Hawaii, for three days I had been posting it," she explained. "You know, [Jo's wife] Vee knew, everyone knew. I said, 'Sorry we're not home, he's safe and sound.' Jo goes, 'He's supposed to be with me today, 9-5.'"
Her response: "Well, I decided it was in his best interest to be with me and his brothers today." Jo allegedly hit back writing, "I asked to have my son today. You agreed to that when you signed the custody agreement. Back to court room, see you there."
After that text, they haven't spoken. "So I don't know if he filed for contempt of court," she added. It's unclear where the two stand now IRL, but we're sure it'll play out as the season progresses.
Teen Mom 2 Recap: Kailyn Lowry Says 'F--k It' to Custody Agreement, Takes Son to Hawaii Against Ex's Wishes
View StoryThough Jo wasn't thrilled about her trip to Hawaii, another one of her exes, Chris Lopez, showed up for some time with her and their child, 2-year-old son Lux. While he has been against MTV filming with him and hasn't been a fan of Lux being on the show in general, he appeared to be loosening up a little bit.
"Things are fine, we're getting along," she said of their relationship, before telling a friend she hoped to film Lux's upcoming birthday party.
Though he initially was just going to pick Lux up after the party, Lopez eventually came around to coming. "If one camera points in his direction, he's going to spit on them," warned Kailyn before he arrived. He was, however, able to attend without being caught on camera.
"Teen Mom 2" airs Tuesdays on MTV.
