The stars sang "The Little Drummer Boy" and "You Oughta Know" for surprised commuters.
Alanis Morissette and Jimmy Fallon gave Big Apple commuters a special treat on Wednesday when they performed a concert in the subway.
During a hilarious segment for "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," the singer and talk show host, both 45, donned disguises for their impromptu serenades, with Alanis in a blonde wig, fuzzy jacket and pink hat, while Jimmy sported a long brown beard and gray beanie.
"Good evening, everybody. We'd like to sing a couple songs for you," Jimmy said in a deep tone, disguising his voice. "We hope you enjoy. Happy holidays."
With Jimmy banging on a miniature snare drum, Alanis took to the microphone for a rendition of "The Little Drummer Boy," which slowly caused travelers to pause and take notice.
But the real crowd started to form once the A-list buskers threw off their costumes to reveal their true identities, as Alanis launched into her 1995 smash hit "You Oughta Know."
The underground show comes on the heels of the Canadian songbird announcing a 31-date tour for the 25th anniversary of her smash album "Jagged Little Pill". The tour will also feature special guests Garbage and Liz Phair.
Alanis also released a new single on Monday called "Reasons I Drink" which will be featured on her ninth studio album "Such Pretty Forks in the Road" due out in May 2020.
The tour will follow a Broadway musical based on "Jagged Little Pill" due out in January and adapted by Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody and directed by Tony winner Diane Paulus.
